How to play

1. Register. Open your invitation link and create an account. Each link works a limited number of times and expires.
2. Download the launcher from the download page and compare its SHA-256 with the one shown there.
3. Run the installer. If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", the beta installer may not carry a purchased code-signing certificate yet. Continue only if you downloaded it from this site and the SHA-256 matches.
4. Open MU World Launcher. It installs the game by itself. The game files are checked against a signed manifest before they run.
5. Sign in with your email and password. Tick Remember me to stay signed in on your own PC for up to 30 days. Do not tick it on a shared PC.
6. Create a character (3-16 letters, digits or underscore), select it and press Play Online.

Good to know

• Updates are installed by the launcher before you play. Never close the launcher while it is updating.
• If the game does not start, press Repair in the launcher.
• Sign out in the launcher forgets this PC immediately.
• You never need to type a server address, port or certificate.
• Your password is never stored by the launcher.
